Figured I would modify this thread for anybody interested. I got myself this bullets from midway, examined 4 rounds for corrosivness. Proven by screening at home so it isnt corrosive, and grabbed they towards array. Recorded a lot off my personal M1 and also have had no corrosion build after weekly of seated. Had no difficulties with the ammunition both. Every game discharged without a hiccup. My group was March ’69. POF 69. So this things was GTG if any individual cares. Oh no difficulties with the movies your ammunition is available in either. Anyone provided and ejected like they truly are supposed to.
Many beneficial bond on here. I bought some because I was thinking it will be cool having Garand bullets pre-loaded on films. Merely after the purchase I absolutely browse and noticed the Berdan primed :-(, then this thread had gotten me personally focused on corrosiveness. Thank you. Have mine from Midway also.
I just got 3 box that I bought down an online forum member Joe having some easily obtainable in the classified listings point here.
The whole thing is headstamped ’68 and loaded in containers designated Dec. 30, 1968 (will need to have been on the point of make some noise on new-year’s, i assume).
The ammo is, in reality, non-magnetic. It is all-in great, surplus situation. Certainly no tough (or a lot better than) the free HXP from the CMP. No corrosion on all rounds save the normal discoloring and tarnish old.
Off 6 enbloc clips, i acquired 2 postwar SA, 2 extremely clearly stamped BRW, one clipwith no markings (SA sugar daddies?) and something that i can not make the emails on. The clips themselves happened to be fairly dry but didn’t come with corrosion or deterioration; we let them soak in CLP for a while and wiped it off, good as latest.
I just don’t believe that every Lots of any POF-mfd milsurp ammunition shall be often constant, non-chlorate-primed and/or okay
We haven’t recorded it yet but i am hoping to make it to the number shortly. Wanting that non-corrosive testimony does work because for a non-reloader like myself personally this stuff is going to be a great alternative. The enbloc films is an enjoyable advantage. Sure CTD was attempting to sell cut HXP not too long ago (eliminated now) but most associated with enblocs was JMO that we see happen difficult for some.
I’m not a reloader but, even though i actually do help save my metal anyhow to utilize as barter materials or save your self for a rainy day, having the enblocs within the contract mitigates that notably.
There’s a lot of a lot of threads concerning poor .303. It was laden with cordite and the cordite it self degraded into a powder creating some really serious problems. I would personallyn’t touch that .303 ammo.
With that said, I’d rather place it in an online forum associate’s pocket
I have shot about a 1000 rounds of POF .308 through an FAL without any issues. The accuracy is okay, the brass are Berdan primed. Mine is mind stamped POF 91. It looks hotter than regular M80 or Spanish surplus, however it operates. I recently start the petrol interface somewhat.

All things considered, I’d somewhat place it in an online forum associate’s pouch
We have shot about a 1000 rounds of POF .308 through an FAL without problems. The precision is ok, the metal is actually Berdan primed. Mine is actually mind stamped POF 91. It’s sexier than standard M80 or Spanish surplus, it works. I recently create the gasoline slot somewhat.
